No one ever really cared about the FZR 600 enough to sell reproduction stickers for them , so I’m making them myself.

Also a side note, I see FZR 600s as the 240SXs of the Fast & Furious era . They’re simple, capable, and decent looking machines that have always been seen as disposable. The only difference is that people haven’t begun to realize the supply of them is beginning to dwindle... At least that’s what I tell myself to justify spending multiple times more than what I paid for the bike on fixing it up.

buddy.

I bought my VFR for $600.

I then spent $2500 JUST on suspension. probably another $1000 on brake pads, tires, carb kits.

I still need to replace that one lost panel and some other minor stuff. so another $700 there.

so 7x the value of the bike there. and I have nt even painted it.

That’s probably in the ballpark of what my bike will work out to. I can think of very few parts on it that haven’t been repaired, replaced, or upgraded. Right now it’s in the shop getting the valve clearances adjusted which I’m dreading getti ng the bill for...

I did the valve clearances myself. Which, yessshhh. fucking V4.

OH, and I forgot another $400 for a replacement R/R and stator.

I looked into doing it myself, but the ris k of me fucking things up even worse was too high. I do want to ride this bike someday, after all.

And damn, I picked up a Yamaha R6 R/ R for like $30... The good thing about my bike is parts are pretty cheap for the most part.

i would liked to use an R6 R/R. but noooo honda R/Rs are slightly different and need either an OEM or a MOSFE T which is what it got.

I still need a replacement body panel and to find that leak in the carbs....

As much as I love Honda motorcycles, it seems like they can be the Apple of bikes sometimes... Nothing else is compatible with them.

I’m going to need a full set of plastics for my bike, plus paint, and getting these stickers made. That’ll probably be a job for this winter.

it might have just been the VFR. either way, i will never again have charging issues on that bike. (ricks stator and MOSFET R/R) :D
